Hi, my 206 diesel jumps while accelerating and makes a odd mechanical sound until the power kicks in and the juddering stops. tried changing the air filter and cleaned all the air intake pipes but that didn’t work. This is a very annoying problem so any advice is very welcome. Thanks!

The fuel delivery is determined by the ECU on this car, as many others. You will almost certainly have to take it to a Peugeot main dealer to be sure of a genuine fix. Citroen dealers will also be able to sort it as this engine is also used in their cars.
