Right, its a 54 plate and ive just baught it.
What can i do to increase the performance of it.
I know a sports exhaust would help but whats the best to have and what else can be done.

If by top end you mean a higher top speed you can change your final drive ratio to a higher gear (lower numerically). For example My f150 has 3.55 final drive ratio and my top speed is somewhere near 130. If I was to put say 2.73 I would have a top speed of 160-170, but it would take me forever to get there. The higher the number the lower your top speed, but you get much better acceleration. For example a car with 3.55 can do a quarter mile in say 14 seconds, but a car with 2.73 would take 15 or more seconds. So you trade off acceleration for top speed its up to you.
If you are looking for overall performance you can get full exhaust, you can get a cold air intake, you can also get some nitrous, larger throttle body, larger fuel injectors. there is all kinds of possibilities the problem is finding parts. Hope that gives you some ideas
